The Rou Estate is a private hillside village of 14 stone houses with a 28m shared infinity pool, private gym, spa and 8 acres of landscaped gardens. Nestled in the hills overlooking the beautiful north east coast of Corfu and flanked by majestic Mount Pantokrator, the Estate enjoys some of the most breath taking views on the island.
The Estate’s houses offer the finest standard of luxury holiday accommodation far surpassing others of similar size on the island. Each house offers spacious and elegant accommodation, enjoys spectacular sea views, is surrounded by private landscaped gardens and has its own plunge or infinity pool.
The stone houses boast a combination of traditional Corfiot architecture, elegant furnishings and modern appliances and amenities including Wifi. Individual houses sleep from 2 to 8 people.
The Estate is also a perfect base to explore the beautiful hills and villages surrounding Mount Pantokrator as well as the pristine waters and charming bays running along the north east coast from Nissaki, Agni, St Stefanos, Avlaki to Ag Spiridon.
The Estate is a stunning venue for walking, painting, writing and yoga holidays offering group accommodation in a peaceful village setting. It is also available to let on an exclusive basis for weddings, special occasions and other private events or for families and friends to holiday together but enjoy some independence in their own accommodation.
The Estate is the creation of British architect Dominic Skinner who, with his Dutch wife Claire, bought the entire village in 2004 and meticulously restored the ruins to develop a stunning and peaceful retreat. This exclusive Estate is unique on the island, offering luxury holiday accommodation and a discrete service similar to a boutique hotel.
